About Jenny Howard Counselling

Welcome to Jenny Howard Counselling. I understand that grief and trauma can be overwhelming and may be experienced in many different ways. My approach is gentle, flexible, and paced around you. I offer a calm, supportive space with no pressure to talk before you are ready, working together in ways that respect your needs, and what feels manageable for you.

My Approach

I work with people experiencing trauma and bereavement, including the pain of loss, missing someone, and the feeling that life has been turned upside down. I am autistic- and ADHD-affirming and recognise that everyone processes experiences differently. My approach is approachable, warm, accepting, and understanding, ensuring a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Who I Help

I specialise in bereavement, neurodiversity, and mental health. I provide support to individuals navigating the complexities of loss, exploring their neurodivergent identities, and managing various mental health challenges. My goal is to empower you on your journey to well-being.

First Session Nerves?

It's completely normal to feel nervous before your first session. Remember, we are all human, and meeting new people can be daunting. Take your time. There's no pressure to share anything you're not comfortable with. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space for you.

"Jenny has a calming presence and a genuine ability to connect. I felt truly heard and understood."
